Join us around the state to become trained in Project Learning Tree’s high school curriculum. PLT’s secondary materials provide engaging opportunities to connect older students to real-world environmental issues, and help students (and teachers!) practice critical thinking skills.

Additional Information

Participants in the afternoon session will receive the Global Connections: Forests of the World and Exploring Environmental Issues: Places We Live modules. Forests of the World provides students with opportunities to apply higher order thinking skills while investigating world forestry issues and conducting service-learning action projects. Places We Live is a useful tool for place-based education, and allows teachers to help create a bond between young citizens and their communities. 


The cost is $35 for one session, or $60 if you also sign up for the morning session (Focus on Forests and Biodiversity).
