Additional Information

Participants in the morning session will receive the Focus on Forests and Exploring Environmental Issues: Biodiversity modules. Focus on Forests provides students with opportunities for hands-on forest study and addresses concepts in biology, ecology, economics, and forest management. Biodiversity helps students learn that decisions about growth and development, energy use and water quality, and even human health, all rest to some extent on perspectives about biodiversity.

The cost is $35 for one session, or $60 if you also sign up for the afternoon session (Global Connections: Forests of the World and Exploring Environmental Issues: Places We Live).
